We’ve got some good news: Aria, Opera’s built-in browser AI, is now available in Opera Mini! This update means that if you’re using Opera Mini on your smartphone, you now have access to powerful AI tools, such as text or code generation, image generation and understanding as well as you can ask questions, summarize text-based content, and get real-time web answers

Aria** offers a range of features to enhance your browsing experience. You can ask questions, generate text and images, summarize content, and get real-time web answers—all without leaving the browser. Whether you’re researching, learning, or just exploring, Aria is here to assist.​ 

What is Aria?
In the chat function of Aria you can interact directly with AI in a natural conversation. Think of it as chatting with a knowledgeable assistant inside your browser. Whether you need to quickly understand a complicated topic, get instant answers, or generate ideas and content—Aria Chat is ready to help.

What is Ask Aria?
“Ask Aria” is your go-to feature when you have a specific question. Need quick facts, directions, or information from around the web? Simply type your question directly into Aria, and it’ll provide you with clear, relevant answers immediately, saving you the trouble of sorting through multiple web pages yourself.

What is image generation and when would you use it?
Image generation in Aria is based on Google’s Imagen3 Fast model which allows you to create custom images directly within Opera Mini. Simply describe what you want to see, and Aria generates the image for you. It’s handy when you’re looking for visuals that fit exactly what you have in mind—perfect for presentations, school projects, creative ideas, or even social media posts.

What is text summary?
Aria’s text summary feature quickly summarizes lengthy articles or web content, giving you the main points in seconds. It’s perfect when you’re short on time, saving your data, or simply looking to quickly understand the essentials without reading through the entire text.

Opera Mini has always been known for its lightweight design. With the integration of Aria, that hasn’t changed. The AI features are built directly into the browser, so you don’t need to download anything extra or worry about the app becoming too heavy. It’s still the fast, efficient browser you know and love.​ To start using Aria, simply update to the latest version of Opera Mini. Once updated, you can access Aria from the main menu or at the bottom of the start page. From there, you can start interacting with the AI—ask questions, generate text, summarize content, and create images with ease.​
