The Opera Mini web browser is the third most popular app used by Indian mobile users, after Facebook and WhatsApp. And, we just reached 50 million Opera Mini users in the country. This certainly calls for a celebration, so we decided to bring our CEO down to India and mark this occasion India-style, with music and dance.
Lars Boilesen, CEO of Opera Software, senior executives from Opera’s HQ in Norway, everyone from the India team, and 50 professional dancers from Shiamak Davar’s Institute put together a flashmob at a mall near New Delhi.
Not many CEOs are as sporting as Lars, who would jump into an unknown territory – such as Bollywood dancing – just to express our heartfelt thanks to the millions of Opera Mini users in India.
In the words of Lars, “This one is for you, India”.
