We just had a visit straight from Bangladesh!

This is Silma Subah, the final winner of the iGenius contest organized by telecommunication service provider Grameenphone. A lot of students participated in this country-wide competition. Opera supported iGenius by giving away, among other prizes, phones that helped in the series of mobile internet educational activities.

Silma tells us she is thrilled to visit the Opera global HQ in Oslo, because she uses Opera Mini to get online. “Especially for Wikipedia. It’s a Speed Dial entry in my Opera Mini. It helps me a lot in school,” she adds.

Silma was joined by Grameenphone M-Commerce and Digital Service Specialist Sayma Rahman. Over lunch with some of our folks from the Marketing Department, Sayma mentioned how happy she is that she can finally put a face to the name to some of the Opera employees with whom she’s been working so closely.
