Hey Opera fans,

Back at the end of July we kicked off an exciting new contest that offered Brazilian content creators the chance to show off their creativity for the chance to win fabulous prizes. We asked budding TikTokers to encapsulate just why Opera for Android is *the* browser for people who love to surf the web. Well the results* are in, and we’re thrilled to announce our winners!

To recap, we encouraged up-and-coming influencers to record a video that showcases Opera for Android’s exceptional qualities and post it on TikTok with the hashtag #OperaMeNota. The masterminds behind the top three submissions would receive a brand-new Samsung Galaxy Flip4, while the next seven lucky winners would receive R$ 500 in shopping vouchers.

The ensuing engagement was tremendous, as over 200 videos were submitted by folks from all walks of life: GenZers, Opera for Android-lovers, even grandmothers! We saw everything from memes to highly-produced content from rising stars – an outpouring of creativity in which everyone, in their own unique voice, attested to why Opera for Android is the best browser for them. And people paid attention, too: through the campaign’s hashtag, there were over 20 million views on TikTok in Brazil!

Our top three winners combined fun and creativity to explain why Opera should be your default browser. We were thrilled to have Letícia Marques (@penseialtotv) participate in Me Nota, posting a video about Opera for Android and its features – such as the built-in ad blocker or our newly-integrated browser AI, Aria – that garnered over 50,000 views. Pedro Estima (@estima.tech) extolled, in particular, the platform’s free and VPN Pro options, while Anderson (@ander_g__) brought the storytelling home by cleverly dubbing over that infamous scene in The Joker.
