Xiaomi’s latest OS – the MIUI 7 global stable version – starts rolling out from October 27. One of its major features is to offer a “Data saver” feature powered by Opera Max. We are very provide the data-saving technology behind MIUI 7, helping users get the most out of their data plans.

This feature will be available on all Xiaomi device models that are currently sold overseas, with the exception of the Mi 4i. Users in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brazil, Philippines and Hong Kong will get this unique data-saving feature with the upcoming MIUI 7 update.

Currently, this feature is available in a beta update (5.10.15). To activate the “Data saver” feature, go to Security –> Data usage –> Select Data saver. A step-by-step guide can be found here.
