Opera 118.0.5415.0 developer update
Hello, Opera fans!
We are excited to share our second update of the Opera Developer this week – version 118.0.5415.0.
This release emphasizes enhancing the browser’s stability and addressing feedback from our users. We added fix for memory management which caused crashes for some of you.
You can find the full list of fixes in the changelog.
While we’ve resolved several key performance issues and reduced crashes, there are still some areas we are actively working on. Here are three specific issues currently in progress:
- Crash at PrefService::SetUserPrefValue – We’re prioritizing a fix for a crash in
PrefService::SetUserPrefValue
and are working to resolve this in an upcoming release. - Preferences Handling Consistency – To enhance user experience, we’re improving the consistency of how preferences are managed across the browser.
- Dropdown Colors in Aurora Theme – Dropdown menus in Aurora Theme currently display incorrect colors. We’re addressing this to ensure a polished appearance.
We ask for your patience as we work to resolve these issues. Rest assured, we are focusing on the most critical fixes first to ensure the best possible experience. We sincerely thank you for using Opera Developer and for your continued support. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve the browser!
Happy browsing!
