We’re thrilled to announce the release of Opera Developer Version 114!
Major Fixes and Enhancements:
- Mac Spacing Issue Resolved: Our team has fixed bug causing excessive spacing in context menus on macOS. This fix ensures a more streamlined and pleasant user interface. For our Windows users, rest assured, we’re diligently working on resolving similar spacing issue and will keep you updated on our progress.
- Critical Crash Fix: One of the most impactful fixes in this release addresses a crash scenario. Previously, using the Aria search function by pressing CTRL + L and attempting to log into an Opera account could cause the browser to crash. This bug has been meticulously resolved, ensuring a smoother and more reliable process.
Other Notable Improvements:
- Updated Chromium Core: We’ve updated our Chromium base to version 127.0.6523.4, bringing in enhanced security, stability, and performance improvements.
- Split Screen Fixes and Improvements: Several adjustments have been made to improve the split screen functionality. These include fixing crashes when quickly switching workspaces and ensuring accurate website display.
- Bug Fixes and Stability: In this update, we’ve addressed a wide range of bugs and crashes.
Known Issue: Moreover we are aware of the drag and drop issue on Linux and are actively working on a solution.
