We’ve rolled out a new Opera Developer release with a round of stability fixes plus a batch of polish across themes, wallpapers, and easy setup.

Core

• Fixed a crash in the background I/O completion thread
• Fixed a crash in the Windows desktop window handler
• Fixed white flash on Opera startup
• Fixed an issue where Opera wouldn’t start after installation

Color Themes 2.0

• Restored the ability to re-apply the same theme after recovery
• Fixed a crash after default recovery with dynamic themes
• Updated the notification popup shown when a theme is added or updated

Easy Setup & Wallpapers

• Fixed scrolling in the wallpaper section on the editor page
• Fixed a broken wallpaper section in easy setup
• Fixed the easy setup preview so it acts as a global preview instead of being tied to the current wallpaper
• Added wallpaper names on hover in the wallpapers section

Split Screen

• Fixed split screen icon disappearing after clicking a chip

AI

• Fixed the AI button
