We’ve rolled out a new Opera Developer release, version 134.0.5952.0, focused on the vertical tabs redesign, with a few extra fixes on the side.

• Added search and collapse buttons to the vertical tabs header
• Made the collapse feature work
• Updated the panel background
• Refreshed tab visuals across the panel
• Updated tab islands header and background
• Numbered every tab island
• Updated the vertical handle indentation on tab islands
• Refreshed the ‘New tab’ button
• Aligned the header with the address bar
• Removed hover on the top header
• Fixed context menu not opening on empty space of the vertical tabs panel
• Fixed blank space in vertical tabs on Mac
• Fixed theme glitches on Mac
• Fixed drag-and-drop issues with gaps in the redesign
• Fixed search-in-tabs button re-clicking itself instead of closing
• Fixed crash in the vertical tabs panel when removing empty groups

Start Page

• Fixed DevTools at Start Page always opening in a separate window
