Opera 133.0.5932.34 Stable update
Hello!
We’ve rolled out a new Opera Stable release with vertical tabs updates in Early Bird, and a batch of fixes across bookmarks, search, and more.
Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed bookmarks landing in the wrong position or being undraggable
- Fixed search tooltip appearing at the bottom of the screen in fullscreen mode
- Fixed DevTools on the Start Page always opening in a separate window
- Fixed theme glitches on Mac that didn’t match the design
- Fixed the missing button styles on the “Relaunch Now” button on opera://about.
Vertical Tabs (available in Early Bird)
We’re actively redesigning vertical tabs in Early Bird. Highlights from this release:
- Redesigned the pinned tabs grid and added drag and drop for pinned tabs
- Added tooltips for pinned tabs
- Refreshed the vertical tabs panel background, tabs, and tab islands
- Updated the tab islands header and added numbering for each island
- Updated the ‘New tab’ button design
- Added search and collapse buttons to the vertical tabs header
- Aligned the header with the address bar
- Removed the hover state from the top header
- Fixed context menu not opening on empty space in the panel
- Fixed blank space in vertical tabs on Mac
- Fixed drag and drop issues with gaps in the redesign
- Fixed crash when inserting tabs into a group
- Fixed crash when removing empty groups
- Fixed the search-in-tabs button re-clicking itself instead of closing
- Added a red ‘recording’ indicator icon
- Enabled
