New Opera 93 Stable update includes fix for latest Chromium zero-day

Hi everyone!

Opera for Windows and Mac have received Stable updates 93.0.4585.37 and 93.0.4585.39 respectively. Among other things, these updates include Chromium update 107.0.5304.122, which addresses the CVE-2022-4135 zero-day vulnerability.

Identified last week, the high-severity vulnerability was described as a heap buffer overflow in GPU. This can cause an app to crash or allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code. Fear not, though – the best way to stay safe from zero-day vulnerabilities like this is to update your browser to the latest versions, which you can find here.

As always, stay safe!
