Hey all! 

We have something to celebrate today, don’t we? It’s October 16 which means it’s World Browser Day! 

Since 1995, we’ve come a long way. No matter which product or strategy we used, our goal was to always make the user experience of the Opera browsers as smooth as possible. We’ve gone through Web1, Web2, and are now shaping Web3 – always striving to be at the cutting edge of browsing innovation.

And, to be honest, we couldn’t have done it without you, our loyal users. 

However, on this special day for all browsers, we’d like to thank not only you, but all other browsers who have been shaping the future of the web: Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Vivaldi, and others – we truly appreciate being in the browser game together! 

We spent the entire day reflecting on what a day without a browser would be like. And seriously, it wouldn’t be great. Doing your homework yourself, getting zero answers to the strange questions that pop up in your head at midnight, no online shopping, and going to restaurants without being able to check the menu in advance… Wow, what a mess it would be!
