Opera beta 40.0.2308.44 update
And yet another release this week – this time, it’s the Opera beta update. We’re getting close to the release candidate, so this beta is getting pretty awesome… we hope 😉
Translations
We have finished all translations for the new UI elements. They should be available in this build, so please report if there are any of them missing in your language.
Sync enhancements
We are rolling out some security enhancements, and we are going to share more details in the future. For now, please be advised that if you use a passphrase, you will be able to sync only between the latest desktop clients (Opera Desktop 40 and 41).
Known issues
There is a hardware acceleration issue on Windows 10 systems with Intel HD5500 integrated GPUs (Windows 7 machines seem to be not affected). The issue causes repaint problems in the form of black areas. We are investigating it. It occurs particularly during the activation of the window from the background. Please let us know about your graphic card version if you spot black areas on the canvas of the Opera window.
The changelog is available here.
