Hello, we are very happy to announces a partnership with Coin98, a Southeast Asia-based DeFi platform, to bolster Web3 accessibility.
Following the integration of Coin98, users of Opera’s Crypto Browser will be able to tap into the platform’s range of multichain NFTs, DEXs, cross-chain bridges, and seamless asset swaps, as well as the ability to stake and lend their cryptocurrency portfolios.
With Southeast Asia famed as an international hotspot for technology — boasting the world’s largest volume of online users at around 2.8 billion — it is no surprise that cryptocurrency has also been warmly welcomed in the region. The region has superseded other continents in volume of retail cryptocurrency investors, with Vietnam positioned as second in the world at 21% of the population. As a result, the SEA region has witnessed an influx of web3 projects from across the globe looking to leverage its progressive pro-blockchain stance.
Opera’s Crypto Browser allows users to easily interact with a wide array of Web3-based services such as decentralized exchanges (DEX) and gaming dapps. It offers a built-in non-custodial crypto wallet, a free VPN, and sidebar support for Telegram and Twitter.
