We are partnering with CELL C to provide our users in South Africa with 25MB of free data every day and continue bringing people online. 

To start your free browsing, make sure that you are a prepaid CELL C customer and that you have Opera Mini installed on your phone. To enable free data, the user should open the Feedback Bot in Hype Messenger, send “Unlock my free data” to the chat and click the link in the reply message. Your free data for the day will be activated when the page is loaded.

Keep in mind that the free 25MB of mobile data applies to any website you visit. Free daily data covers browsing only, while normal data costs will apply to video streaming and file downloads.

How can I get the free daily data with Opera Mini?

The only way to enable the free data is to open the Feedback Bot in chat service Hype, built into the Opera Mini browser, send “Unlock my free data” to the chat and click the link in the reply message. As a result you will receive a confirmation message from the Feedback Bot. 

What can I do with the 25MB of free data?

The free daily data covers browsing only. The data package does not include video streaming or downloading files from the internet. You will be charged out of your normal data bundle for this. 

Does free browsing apply to other Opera applications?
