Apple released macOS Sierra on 20 September, the same day as our Opera stable release, and many of you have taken the opportunity to update both your operating system and your browser.
If you’re one of the early updaters, you’ve probably also noticed an annoying issue: Opera’s renderer crashes on many pages with videos, when the video stops playing.

Today we’re releasing an update to Opera stable for macOS that solves the frequent renderer crash on macOS Sierra.

You’ll also get the Chromium update to version 53.0.2785.116. Windows and Linux users will get this update next week.

Happy browsing!
